Would like to have been able to park before check in time has result off this a got a parking fine i did rang and ask before hand and was told no witch i found unhelpful

Room was very clean, however the bed was very sweaky and mattress was uncomfortable. The flooring was creaky and wobbly in places, we could hear the room next to us which was not great at 3am and the shower was either freezing cold or so hot it burnt you. Shame as photos look great and location is easy to walk into the town centre within 10mins. Parking outside was handy but overall wasn’t the best place for us to stay.

Comfy ghost house...
Comfy and cozy room. Large bed. Good shower. In room drinks. Even an iron and board in the hallway if needed. All in all very good. However, the hotels runs a self check in system. You simply let yourself in and out. You don't actually see anyone. It's a bit like staying in someone's ghost house. Only problem we had was that the TV was rubbish. After a busy day all we wanted to do was chill in front of the TV for a couple of hours, but it didn't want to play game. Firstly we could only select BBC 1 and C4. So being an Android TV I thought, let's watch something on iPlayer, nope. TV was connected to the WiFi router, but no Internet. Told it to forget the connection and set up again. Still the same. Used my phone as a hot spot. Connected to the Internet OK, but the TV was so unresponsive that I gave up after 20 minutes of trying. Shame really.

Firstly we were notified the day before that they were having some work/alterations done massive skip outside filled to the top . dust all over from the building. noise from other rooms could be heard. I imagine all rooms have wooden floors all you could hear above was people walking around. wanted hot drink old water still in kettle cups were disgusting the cup actually stuck to the saucer and tipped it upside down and didn’t drop . this supposed to be a birthday celebration for myself when we actually first pulled up outside my heart sank FIRST IMPRESSION S do last 😡

This is a charming place, it's very close to the Pavilion and to the centre of Whitby, so you can easily walk everywhere. They have a very generous amount of tea, coffee and biscuits, with more outside the room if you should like. You can WhatsApp the staff if you like and they are very helpful. The area is very quiet.

This was my first time staying at a hotel where you check yourself in/out. I like the convenience of not having to queue at reception to check in/out.

The check-in system was easy. Room was clean & tidy. A short walk to beach & town centre. Permit parking we got a space straight away but could be hard on busy days

It was ok, seeing the photos of the rooms when booking expected it to be nicer, especially for the cost, so the first impression of the outside was a bit disappointing , the carpet /deco on the stairs up to the room was dated , the room and bathroom were clean, the tv in the room was tiny and really high on the wall, convenient location for the pavillion.
