"It has to be said that the house and grounds are superb and Met my desire to have my friend wake up on her 80th birthday in palatial surroundings. However I have just been informed at the end of breakfast that it is not included in my Expedia booking! There is no warning of that whatsoever and I think that it is deceitful and deceptive. "

"We really like staying at the Feathers we have stayed here a number of times. There is everything you need. The rooms are comfortable with a lovely selection of teas, coffee, biscuits with the option of collecting fresh milk from the bar. There is an iron in the room. The bar & restaurant are good with good selection of cocktails & wine. The staff are friendly & helpful The location is good for visiting family in Hertford and travelling to London via the A10. Good value for money too"

"Relatively quiet hotel with access to restaurants nearby. Buffet breakfast was good but limited selections to chose from."

"Rooms very small, but satisfactory. Excellent breakfast. Location is convenient"

"Great stay. Helped us check in a bit earlier as were shattered from early flight and had no real issues other than nobody was able to get screen mirroring to work from their mobiles in either of the rooms which was quite annoying but not end of the world! Staff very friendly and helpful breakfast perfect too"

"Amazing views from my room. Great location!"
