"Hotel 2-3 star. Front desk staff helpful but no room service for towels etc due to poor staffing. Fruit water in lobby was awesome- appreciated that!! VA Beach as a destination was disappointing. Would not return. Loud, food mediocre at best but expensive, understaffed everywhere and the staff at every location were not friendly ( except hotel), did not feel safe in VA Beach. Curfews imposed due to recent violence. Sad. The ocean was beautiful though!"

"This is a great place to stay if you want a clean room with basic amenities. It is an older hotel but well kept, safe, and the staff is amazing. We have stayed here several times and it is great to see the same friendly faces each time we come. The beds are comfortable, there are plenty of soft pillows, lots of towels, great water pressure, rooms are clean and smell great, small fridge and microwave work great. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the age of the facility, the need to slam your door to get it to catch, and some repairs that could be done outside the elevators as you go to your room. I personally love the old feel to this hotel. There is something about feeling like you are stepping back in time for me that makes a vacation more memorable. We will continue to come back here whenever we come to VA Beach!"
