"The lady at the front desk (the manager) was highly hostile with me and my friends while we were attempting to check into our hotel. We decided to no longer give our service to this establishment and she refused a full refund and claimed we had booked another place and just wanted our money back. She also accused us of being hostile towards her when all we did was ask genuine questions as we are young and not too experienced with booking hotels."

"Absolutely loved this place! Clean and comfy stay. The building next door under construction but they start around 9am and finish around 5pm. Staff friendly and desk available until midnight most nights."

"Style is really cool but the rooms are a bit dated in amenities. Shower felt old but relatively clean. Property seemed to have some nice amenities such as the outdoor bar and pool area but both were closed due to rain and cold weather when I was there. Great location!"

"It’s right on the beach! Has a nice outside seating area. Reserved paid parking ($20, worth it!). Right around the corner from Washington Square. Location, beach, nice staff make this a great Venice Beach stay."
