We had a lovely stay at this property. The rooms have an authentic touch to them. The hosts were very kind and helpful people. They were very friendly and welcoming and we had a good breakfast too.

Great location and service provided by the host. However, the host were not anticipating our arrival. They were not aware of the reservation I made through hotels.com within 24 hours of my stay

We liked the location of the hotel (Urgup is stunning and less busy than Goreme) and we found a great sunrise and sunset point by climbing for 10 minutes up the cliff next to the property. The courtyard where the rooms are located is picturesque. They man who checked us did not seem happy at all. We had to ask for toilet paper three times during our stay as we were given just 1 small roll each time. We were disappointed with the rooftop - it does not look like the photos and doesn’t look safe to sit on. You will not see balloons from this rooftop like the photo suggests. The breakfast was initially disappointing, too (it was a very small buffet, unlike what the photos of the breakfast depict) but then we realised we had to ask for hot food i.e. boiled eggs or omelette and fries (typical breakfast food in Turkey) - there may have been more options but these were not communicated to us. The hot food improved the breakfast a bit but it still was not what we were expecting. You will need to download Turkish on Google translate as the staff do not speak English; this is not a problem for us however the other reviews say they were given all sorts of help and advice from the staff whereas they did not seem to want to talk to us.

Butik bir otel, odalar taş duvar ama ses yalıtımı hic yok desem yanlış olmaz sanırım. kaldığımız odalar da TV klima buzdolabı yok sadece yatak banyo tuvalet şeklinde ,işletmecisi iyi niyetli genç bir arkadaş kahvaltı yeterli sade lezzetli otelin konumu gayet iyiydi.

Yıl olmuş 2024 odada ne telefon çekiyor ne de internet. Odada wifi de yoktu. Ayrıca kahvaltı ortalamanın altındaydı. At gezisi turunu orda çalışan personeller piyasanın 300-400 tl fazlasına ayarlartmaya çalışıyorlardı.

I was on a tour as a twin share and booked my own room separately. Despite email confirmation from the motel, they initially didn't have a room. Once a room was found, it was fine. I was offered a better room for the second night but declined because the first room was fine. The twin share room booked with the tour was very claustrophobic. 1.5metre doorway. No window. Tiny bathroom. Across the facility there was a big rang in room space and quality. Many of the tour group commented that the fridge didn't work, but we had found that to be a common problem throughout Turkey. The staff were friendly, approachable, obliging. Shops and restaurants nearby. Restaurant wine is very expensive, beer is quite cheap. Wine and beer from shops is very reasonably priced. If you are claustrophobic and booking here, request a big room with large bathroom and windows. Overall, a positive experience in a quirky hotel.
