"The absolute warmest people - that's what stood out to me the most. It's such a treat to get to sit at the breakfast table with Laurie, to hear her stories of a life well lived and to share my own. The breakfast was outstanding, made with love by Miriam who is so gentle and kind. The B&B is clean, cozy and well located. I took a long stroll around the neighborhood which was lush and quiet. An overall excellent experience. "

"Excelente lugar rodeado de naturaleza, una hermosa piscina, comida muy rica en el restaurante.
Únicos puntos "negativos" la cama sonaba muchísimo y durante fin de semana de evento en Parque Viva vas a escuchar mucho ruido externo a la propiedad y al hotel"

"This lodging is a hidden gem away from Poas but close enough to get to the crater within 20 minutes. The views from the dining area were spectacular. The owner, Cindy, communicated clearly and often. She provided excellent directions to the property which is located high up on a hill in a residential area. The bedding was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Serenity Ecolodge for a stay near Poas Volcano. I have nothing but good things to say about the...

"This place could truly be excellent, however they just missed the mark in a few areas.
1) The restaurant food quality was almost good but they used toxic seed oils in everything.
2) We booked the sauna only to find it turned off and no towels for us. We turned it on ourselves, told staff to push our appointment back to the next half hour block. One hour after turning the sauna on it was 46°C inside, we hadn’t broke a sweat & staff came by to ensure we didn’t over stay our time limit. We...
