This is a fantastic location for exploring Chichen Itza. Our rooms overlooked the jungle and pool area and had loads of wildlife to see. The pool was lovely and exactly what we needed after a long day exploring the ruins. Staff were friendly and nice. The restaurant was good with large portions. Slightly expensive, but the hotel is isolated so limited options available. Overall a lovely stay.

Fantastic resort. We loved the two story bungalow with hammock on the terrace. Nice restaurant and pool area. Downside could only get WiFi in central areas and not in the bungalow. Would recommend.

An oasis of calm with food.

We stayed here so we were close to Chichen Itza for an early morning tour. It was clean ,comfortable and the staff were great. We ate dinner and breakfast there and both meals were delicious. The pool and grounds were lovely. The wifi was only in the public areas. Would recommend if you are visiting Chichen Itza

Great pool and close to the chichen itza I would recommend getting a phone number for a taxi company or person in that area to make getting to chichen itza easier

This could be the best hotel we have ever stayed at. We have never experienced the level of personalisation and care that Oriundo showed. From letting us choose the scent of our rooms, to having our favourite fruits in our room, different coffees and pastries delivered to the door each morning, this hotel is simply wonderful. The hotel is exactly as described, the layout of rooms around the pool & seating areas surrounded by lush planting & trees is beautiful & very relaxing. Our room was spacious, comfortable & very private. We chose the Sutuk over other hotels because of the valet parking for our hire car - it was slightly further from the main square but this meant that we did not have to navigate the one way system through the town. This is a beautiful 16th century hacienda. It is quite well maintained, but it is obvious that more money should be invested to bring it back to its former glory, especially the bathroom ceilings. However, for anyone who wants a peaceful and quiet vacation, outside the city but not too far away, this hacienda is an excellent choice.
