"This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a great time. Staff were great (mostly) and really helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was excellent, my wife and I loved every dish. The bar was well stocked with some great (and favourite) scotch so that was a bonus. We arrived Friday and left Sunday and on the Saturday we had a late lunch which was lovely, sat outside in the garden with the local church in view. My friend is gluten and dairy free and Iain and Anna could not have been more accommodating. Excellent breakfast, comfy and very clean rooms. Sorry we only stayed one night! "

"Sofisticated elegant clean and very comfortable. Beautiful rooms with extra lounge rooms with second TV. Lovely showers. Breakfast was simple but fresh well presented and clean. "This hotel is great for the location to the cathedral but i am afraid this the breakfast was the only great thing about it. All the staff we encountered were lovely but this hotel is tired and run down. We had a deluxe room but there was nothing deluxe about it apart from a balcony with a view but the balcony was dirty and there was no chairs to sit out on. The carpets were vile and there were cobwebs inside the balcony doors and vents. The bath panel was broken and we had to push it back in...

"The location of the hotel is perfect , literally on the doorstep of Lincoln Cathedral and the castle. Parking is opposite to the hotel - although it is a public car park and a fee charged by meter upto 24hour parking available. The hotel itself is lovely, well presented and very clean.
