"I had a wonderful time at Laguna Villas. The staff and food was excellent. They helped me coordinated private van and boat service that aligned with my travel agenda. The boat dropped my off directly in front of the resort where I was greeted by the staff. I enjoyed the convenience of having free bike rentals right on the property despite them needing some maintenance (there are some great climbs around the island). Looking forward to returning in the future."

"Wonderful staff, large villas, great views The state of the property however is quite tired and in need of updating. The paths, gardens, lighting, buggies, tennis court, almost everything is very used up. Food was generally quite good Too many kids and it could be useful for them to offer segregated seating for families and couples to ensure everyone is happy. Generally enjoyable stay except for the state of the property."

"Our stay at Sandy Nangshi was unforgettable. The view is truly once-in-a-lifetime — absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in Room 17, which was amazing. The private plunge pool and jacuzzi made it feel like our own secluded retreat. The entire property has a peaceful, romantic atmosphere — perfect for a honeymoon. The food was top-notch, and our waiter Vee stood out for being professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The mangoes here are the best I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve traveled all over the world. The mango smoothies alone are an experience. The café program is also next level — the matcha lattes, iced matcha, and Thai tea were all outstanding. Waking up early is a must — the sunrise is probably the best I’ve ever seen. A major highlight is the complimentary boat trip. Unlike the crowded tourist ferries to places like James Bond or Phi Phi, this felt exclusive with just a few hotel guests — truly VIP. The pool area is nice but small, with about six lounge chairs, so it can be hard to grab one. Staff isn’t always in sight, and the water runs warm due to the climate. Overall, this is a perfect place to relax and disconnect. We came for our honeymoon and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend."

"We were in Villa 12 and it was amazing. The pool was cool and so lovely to return to each day. The staff are next level helpful and ready to be there for you. Room service on the terrace was incredible and the sunset were amazing. would so recommend this little resort. You would need to have a scooter though as it is not too close to anything. But the food in the restaurant is well prices and delicious."

"I left my chain next to the sink and then left and they are saying they don’t have it, so house keeping stole my chain and the chickens are soooo loud"
