"Loved every second of our stay. It’s our fourth vacation at JW Khao Lak in three years and we keep coming back. Our room was nice and tidy. The restaurants were excellent (special shoutout to the staff att Sakura). The staff at the kids club were always happy and sweet. Loved the new gym and the yoga classes! Cant wait to come back!"

"I had an amazing stay at Dewa! I solo traveled for my birthday and the staff went above and beyond for me! All I did was mention my birthday being the next day to my driver and the entire staff showed me so much love! I was able to book my activities for a good price as well. I enjoyed my private pool villa and look forward to returning!"

"Great resort plenty of amenities even if the water park is closed. Customer service is a huge stand out for us, we never met anyone unwilling to assist or greet us. The staff ensures there are plenty of activities for kids. If breakfast is not included with your stay, make sure you make other arrangements for meals. However 7/11 and Lotus are steps away. Will definitely stay here again. Hopefully it doesn’t get too packed once the water park opens. Sold on the ocean side pool. Absolutely beautiful."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Merlin - in fact we are still here as we extended our stay with the hotel because we decided we didn’t need to go anywhere else for a truly magical and relaxing stay. We feel immersed in nature - surrounded by incredibly beautiful trees and we saw a slow loris during our night tour! The pools are so lush with vegetation all around them - we spent hours just milling around in what felt like a jungle pool, complete with waterfalls! The staff are all so lovely and super attentive, but with the most relaxed and easy going manner. I found myself quite envious of the people who work here - they honestly seem to be very happy in their work and well looked after. We didn’t go all inclusive and slightly regret that, as it wasn’t a lot more on top and means that, even if you only eat here half the time, it will probably be worth it. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back! Thank you so much everyone at Merlin - we will see you again as soon as possible! 😊"
Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, all the staff were very helpful. The room we booked ended up having an ocean view, even though we only booked a deluxe king which was an added bonus. The welcome drink was also very nice after a long flight. Be prepared to either wait for a buggy to pick you up or walk up a log of hills, as the whole hotel was up and down in the hills. This did not affect us, but may do if you are handicapped. The general location of the hotel is not great if you want to do sightseeing, as we had to get an hour taxi ride to the Buddha, and the Phuket town. We also had to do a long ride to the port for any boat trips which was a bit annoying. It was only 15 minutes from the airport however which was nice and quick. If you want to just relax at a hotel, this would be a great choice. The swimming pool was great, and the gym was empty most of the time. We also appreciated that you could go down to the pool at any point and get a seat as towels are removed if you put them down before 10am, and after 30minutes if you do not return. We did try the Italian restaurant which was nice but has limited vegetarian food. The poolside restaurant was alright but the iced coffee was not nice."
SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort

"Prior to coming to Thailand, I have never heard of the SALA resorts. So for first impression, this was probably my favorite hotel of all time. The staff was beyond helpful, friendly, courteous, and went out of their way to make sure that we felt special. The scenery at every meal was breathtaking as your right by the beach. The food was excellent every time. The hotel room with our own pool, we got an upgrade and to say that it was stunning is an understatement . They were helpful when it came to excursions, and also helpful when it came to rides or anything else that we needed. If I could stay at a Sala property everywhere I go I would. I would definitely recommend this hotel this staff to anybody staying in Phuket or anywhere else in Thailand. A final point is that all other hotels should measure how good their service and amenities are based on how SALA does it. The kindest staff anywhere."
