"This is our 3rd time staying at Cala Luna and we absolutely love it! It gets better each time we return! The rooms are so incredibly lovely, the howler monkeys surrounding the property are a delight but above all the staff is the best! Especially in the restaurant and bars - they are so incredibly welcoming and nice! Andres the bartender is a true mixologist (you have to try his mezcal cocktails)! The beds are so comfortable and it’s a one minute walk to a not crowded beach! The room are well...

"We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at JW Marriott Guanacaste. The staff was friendly, helpful and always available. The pool was amazing, along with the beach. Our ocean view room was just as we expected -- breathtaking view! We highly recommend a visit here."

"Liked the propert landscaping. Didn't like that the condo we stayed in was infested with large ants Told the guard at the gate about the ants and the condo was sprayed. Many ants died but when we left the infestation was worse than ever. Didn't like that there was no communication with management and the office was always closed. "

Great location for beach access and every restaurant you can imagine. Farmers market nearby 2 days a week. Bring ear plugs for potential howler monkeys and the bar nearby that plays music until 2am. "I definitely enjoyed our time at Occidental, the staff are all super nice (especially someone working in the entertainment of the resort, I forgot his name, who took the time to learn our names and would always say Hello and was overall such an amazing person)and the location of the hotel is in a nice little corner on the beach allowing you to swim in a natural current that is between two beaches. It was our 10 year anniversary and the hotel provided us with a nice bottle of wine when we arrived...
