  • Q Square mall-- not exactly a tourist destination (there are many malls in Taipei) but it's a nice mall located close to Taipei Main station (Metro/MRT) if you're looking to escape the heat. Huge food courts here too with lots of options (and obviously shopping). This mall also has a movie theatre, which shows mostly American movies (but cheaper). It's also about a 10-15 walk to the historic Dihua street, one of the oldest areas of the city which was once the main market area (still lots of interesting shops there that cater to the local...good photo opps too with some older buildings)

The hotel has a very strategic location. 7-11 is downstairs, with lots of shops to explore around. Very near to the train station to catch the express train to the airport.

Walkable from the Taipei main station and there’s a convenience store just downstairs. Very close to a big departmental store too. My second time staying here and this time with a partner, unfortunately we get a smaller room compared to the one I had my last trip when I was travelling alone.

Not a bad location at city center

Location is the best. Very convenient but the elevator is old and take times to wait... The hotsl is ok. We hot a coner room without window so you can smell the humid in the air. Highly suggest to clean with air machine. Bed was quite nice !

Hotel is on the second floor but street sign points the way. Very close to the Z8 exit from Taipei Main Station. I had a NYC small room on noisy street. Reception closes at 8 pm. Great location.

There are several hotels in the same building and this one occupies 2/F. It is a bit old, weak air-con, no fridge (u can use a sharing one in the common area), and all the toilet floor would be wet after shower. No need to pick the room with window. When u open it, u’ll be seen by ppl on the street! Overall, if u r looking for good location and price, it may be a choice.

Overall a good place to stay for a solo traveler. It is close to the Taipei Main Station which makes it very convenient. There's a 7/11 right next to it if you need any something quick to eat.
