"The room was run down. There were bugs in the room when we arrived. There was a rip in the screen so you could open and close the window (done on purpose?)...so no surprise about the bugs getting in. There was no soap, no dishtowels, no washing cloth for doing the dishes. The positive was the bed was comfortable enough and it was clean. It had a nice view but we felt it was expensive for what we got."

"So what do we do then?" He says he will have muffins, bread, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc. in the spare room. Okay, but nothing near the $60 breakfast included and paid for in the reservation. "Our room had cooking equipment. Pots and pans can be requested from yhe Office. Our room had no plates or bowls."

"We did not use any services. The booking on line led to many problems . I thought the sight offered a King bed or two Queens. I Chose the King bed but denied the offer of two Queen beds. The original room was about a 5 min. Walk to the end of the second floor. I phoned and complained and they very kindly gave us a similar room closer to the elevator. We did not get a King bed as advertised and there was a Large addtional charge for our room at time of payment on line. We might have saved a...

"Very cute, newly renovated. We had a beautiful view of the ferry and central to the downtown core of powell river."

"The staff was great! They have been very accommodating about me having my 81-year-old dad over for visits. He uses a walker, and we were given a level-entry room with a great view of the ocean! I've been coming back to this place for a year now. They have a BBQ for the guests!"
