"Had lovely night here. Nice sea view. Staff very helpful. Nice touch was book car for 2 nights so you could leave car in their car park so you could walk into town. "

"We were in town mainly to visit nearby Port Isaac (because we loved the Doc Martin series). If you don't mind the steep hill, you can walk from one town to the other in about 15 minutes, and the Port Gaverne hotel was relatively affordable. We had a good dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and the staff was friendly. The only thing we'd mention is that we were on the top floor, which had nice views but is up an extremely narrow and steep staircase. So if you couldn't make that climb, be sure to ask for a room on a lower floor."

"The breakfast was fresh and good. Lovely fresh fruit salad. Lunch in the bar is very good. Lots of free and easy parking directly outside the hotel. The decor inside is so rich, where do you look first, beautiful and tasteful. Our room had a four poster bed which we were not expecting, real treat, the room had a panoramic view of the coast line. We just had a wonderful time."

"Nicely positioned hotel for what we needed. Comfortable room though a little warm at night as the supplied fan wasn't up to the job. All staff very accommodating. The pool was a little cool for us. Loveley seating in the reception area watching Fistral beach .Overall a nice hotel and the 2nd visit for us . Parking difficult as the whole road was full due to half term."

"Amazing views of the coast from the bed. Dog was very happy with quietness of room. Pool and hot tub was warm. Everything we needed I the kitchen. Had. A lovely stay. "
