"The wonderful Marriott "signature scent" was throughout the hallways, but the room itself stunk of human body. Had to ask that the room be serviced across a multi-day stay. Valet did not offer to help get luggage out of car. Eat breakfast elsewhere..$50 and sad"

"Charm and location. The room we stayed in was truly like being home (we live in an 1892 Victorian) and we instantly fell in love with the decor. Unlike the "brand name" lodgings that we've become accustomed to The Powder House was the antithesis of the sterile institutional cookie cutter banality. "I had a wonderful five night stay here. The location is convenient but in a quiet area. Parking is included and an easy walk down a block and around the corner. I parked my car and never moved it. Everything is very clean and tidy. The staff is very helpful with all arrangements. The guests were all lovely and shared some good ideas about things to do and see.
