The apartment was satisfactory, was in a great location and our stay was quiet and event free. The only downside was the smell in the entire unit, of sewer gas, especially in the bathroom. Also, a light was burnt out in the bathroom, making it very dark. Otherwise, it was good for a night or two but probably not much longer.

Ps….Leave Alone

No inner springs left in the mattress, certainly was not 17m2. Very few appliances to cook with, needs a microwave as everything you buy can only be heated with a microwave, but wouldn’t know where to put it as the apartment was too small….

The apartment was basic but clean but a wardrobe door was missing a handle But communication was sporadic and the supplied phone number isn’t recognised. This meant that I had to use Hotels.com chat to sort things out

The only issue I have with this apartment was obtaining the access codes for the apartments, i tried the numbers listed and had difficulty. The information listed says 24hrs before, i was still communicating after that and was told we would receive it on the morning of, after communicating with Expedia and the apartments got the information the evening before

Only selling point is location

1 night stay for work in the area. Firstly - getting the check in codes was a hassle. It got to the day before and I had not received the codes for the room and front door. I tried ringing with no answer. I emailed and took them hours to reply saying they weren’t going to give them to me until I had paid BUT hotels.com won’t take payment until you check in!!! Explained this via email and finally got the codes on the day of arrival which was cutting it a bit fine for me. Overall building condition is shabby, front door does not seem safe and very worn down in and outside of building. On entering room wardrobe door handle hanging off and cleanliness not great - floor was sticky? Ew. Windows could Not be opened or closed anymore and had to stay half open as they window panels were broken! Sadly they provided a desk but no chair?! Shame as I needed to do some work prep so made it very difficult. Otherwise OK… I feel if you want somewhere close to town to stay then go for it but if you are looking for anything more than that please book elsewhere. Defiantly give off student accommodation vibe

The location was very convenient. Located on the high street, so can hear a bit of noise of people talking at night, but with ear plugs it was fine. Self check in instructions and relatively simple, not help was not easily provided. The apartment was sufficiently equip for a 1-night stay. Several things within the apartment (i was given a 2nd floor apartment) was broken. First, the door nob to the bathroom was missing and i did lock myself in the bathroom for a while. Second, the extractor fan didnt seem to work either. The windows were old and some couldn't open / lock. Did not use the stove or oven. The building itself could do a little bit of a touch up. Basically you are paying for the location.

Good location, but some repairs needed.

The location in the main street is very convenient for shopping, buses and trains. Access with codes was easy. We had one major problem- there was no handle on the bathroom door, so there was a constant worry that if it was accidentally closed, you couldn't get out. It was good to have some tea bags and coffee but would have been nice to have regular coffee as not everyone drinks decaf.

Very poor: no heating, drafts, no communication

At arrival it took us half an hour to make the code for front door to work. The numerical keylock badly functioning and no staff present at the property. Phone calls to the property and to Hoterls.com were unanswered. There was no heating first night with outside temperatures 1 degree C. Some windows with shattered glass and drafts. Location was fine, beds OK. Property management horrific. Hotels.com useless as well.

Disappointing.

Front door keypad does not work very well and is frustrating. Took numerous attempts to put in the six digit code as it would 'die' after 2 or 3 numbers and was a struggle to make it to all 6. Took 5 mins or so to gain entry upon arrival. Keypad is even harder to use in the morning with the sun blaring on the numbers - was locked out for almost 10 minutes when taking two trips to pack bags in the car. Had to wake up another guest and ask them to 'buzz me in' after giving up with the keypad! Windows are all dirty, they do not keep the sound out and the blinds do not keep the light out either. Pillows offer no support so a good nights' sleep is not guaranteed. Feel that 'apartment' is a stretch, it was a bedsit / small hotel room with a kitchen. On the upside, good central location and was an on-street parking space readily available for my arrival (free 6pm - 8am which coincided with my arrival and departure times) Please... sort the keypad issue out and all the other issues can be overlooked however the prospect of not being able to get into the room you have booked / not being able to get back and get all of your possessions out causes undue stress and ill-feeling.

I would recommend it for couples not with family.

The apartment was very clean. I personally would have liked a microwave other wise it had everything you need. The location was very convenient right in the city centre loads off places to eat.

Apartment was very different to the one advertised in the advert on expedia so was a little shocked when arriving. Double beds were very small so uncomfortable to sleel in. Windows didn't keep sounds out barely at all. Apart from that comfortable stay and good value for money

Apartment had not been cleaned prior to check-in. Had requested early check-in but told would not be available due to housekeepers being in. After complaining regarding the cleanliness, it was dealt with promptly and to a good standard. Have been offered a refund for the evening stay due to the inconvenience of the state of the apartment upon check-in

The code that i was issued didn't allow me access to the front door i a had to wait for a joint smoking resident to let me in. 3 night stay tea and coffee provided for 1 day. 3 pieces of toilet paper provided, just enough to blow my nose once. Cupboard handle fell off in my hand. Toilet brush with broken handle. Bogeys on the wall. Very noisy neighbours and even a dog in the apartment ! Apartment cleanliness to a very poor standard, hairs in the bed including long blonde hairs which certainly didn't come from me. Very noisy location on the main street with traffic and the resident crack heads partying all night.
