"Clean room, nice staff, location was great. No view from my room which I thought I was getting based in the listing. This property is almost exactly as it was in 1967. The only upgrades are a mini split, wifi and a TV in the room. The included breadfast is basically survival food. The room rate reflects what you get. The bed is a platform with a 4 inch mattress. The bathroom has a tub and shower wand. No curtain. Basically, you get a convenient location, a clean room with a ceiling and running water. If you're looking for a place to sleep without spending much and you want to know what it was like to be a GI on leave in 1970, this will work for you. That's about it. "

Unfortunately, the noise and music from the beach night clubs, until late in the night, could clearly be heard from my beachfront room. The hotel provides ear plugs so this must be a common complaint. For me, I would select a quieter hotel next time and give up the beach view. "
