"You can't beat the location - perfectly situated allowing direct access to walk the cliff tops and view the beauty of the Icelandic coast below and a good point to split the trip if seeing the West end. The room was nice enough and the huge window facing the sea was nice but it would be have been better if the adjoining restaurant shut off their rear exterior lights so you could appreciate the view at night. The restaurant experience wasn't great - found the staff cold and the food bland but options are limited out there. Overall the hotel was a good place and recommended."

"My friends and I had the best time at Brenna! The owners are so wonderful and accommodating. The view is incredible and there is plenty of space in there to relax after a long day of exploring. Our last night in Iceland was made so perfect because of our stay at Brenna. Definitely recommend!"

"What could be improved is the flexibility shown in exceptional circumstances. We were unable to reach the cottage due to a snowstorm, and a partial refund would have been a reasonable gesture of goodwill. Policies serve their purpose from a business standpoint, but an occasional act of understanding goes a long way in building lasting customer loyalty"

"This hotel is the perfect location to explore the Snæfellsnes peninsula. The visitor center is a short walk away and the village is pleasant to walk through, especially Love Street by the water. The rooms are exactly what we were looking for: a place to sleep and stash gear while we explored. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. Where this hotel excels is the service! "This is a great place to stay if you are looking to be away from city lights so you can try to see the Northern Lights. We were fortunate they were visible on our night here and it was a highlight of our trip. The staff is friendly, but they are not available at all times. Our shower was stopped up, but there is no staff late at night so we had to wait until morning for it to be fixed. They took care of it right away then, so it's just a matter of expectations. Overall, I would stay here again."
