"The Alex was charming, clean and centrally located. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The views are spectacular, especially from the rooftop restaurant/bar. The food was delicious and the staff was wonderfully accommodating and polite. I highly recommend this hotel to any travelers going to Piraeus."

"The location was fantastic, easy to get to port Pireaus. The young man at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful, showing us on a map where our departure was going to be, places to eat, etc. Shower is a little scary due to height of the tub, and we couldn't get the a/c to work but we were there for less than 24 hours so it didnt matter much. Overall, great pit stop on the way for rest when using the port ferry."

"The hotel is great as a place to stay.
However, we booked two rooms - one king bed and one family room.
When we arrived they gave us a king room and a separate connecting room with a door between a double room and a twin room.
All good - two rooms as booked, one good as a family room.
On checkout though they insisted we pay city tax for three rooms, not two, even though Expedia quoted city tax for just two rooms and no-one had told us they would class the booking as three rooms.

"The hotel presented well, and staff were efficient and friendly. We arrived close to 10 pm and there were no restaurant or bar facilities open in the hotel, and so we had to seek food and drink outside. The room was good and offered all necessary amenities."

"The breakfast special offered at the hotel was huge and very tasty. The menu offered in the restaurant was excellent.
The rooms were very clean, the beds were a bit hard for Canadians but worked well. The staff were extremely helpful and their English was very good for most of the staff."

"I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. As a solo traveller (for the first time) It couldn't have been more perfect. Staff were so helpful and kind. Nick in particular took time to offer guidance re area/metro use. Breakfast and rooms were perfect. Location is good and walking distance to the main town so we didn’t need to get public transport however I would stick to the main road walking as the side roads did not feel very safe"
