"Really attractive and nicely furnished converted old building. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was just about perfect. Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms. "Great location to visit Bilbao. Riverfront and across from the Old Quarter. Walking distance to all the Pinxtos bars. 1 mile from the Guggenheim Museum, but the cable car is across the street. Breakfast is really good with Cava being poured. The gym is better than most hotels with free weights and pulley machine. The gym has its own shower and bathroom. Overall, great stay and location."
