"I had a great stay at Hotel Politeama in Palermo. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore shops, restaurants, and major attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a good variety and quality. Overall, a convenient and enjoyable place to stay in Palermo."

"Bit unsure on arrival as the entrance was behind a big pot leading to a communal yard, but that seems to be the norm in catania, rang the buzzer and got let in. Taken to the room no lift so could be a problem with heavy bag or walking difficulties. The room itself was very nice , spotless but the big thing for us was when we opened the door shutters the view was the hustle and bustle of the street below from the small balcony. Straight across the street was Bellini park , many many cafes and shops underneath and when you look to the right you could see Etna covered in snow large as life between the buildings, what a great sight. We love to people watch so was great for us. If you want it to be really quiet, maybe not for you.
We had a great time savio cafe I underneath served great arancina and granita."

"The hotel is nice and the rooms have high ceilings, but it needs a complete refurbishment. No view at all. 2 small windows opening to small row of backyard. The staff were nice. The bed was good and comfortable, and the breakfast was acceptable."

"The room was comfortable, spacious and quiet. We had a second small room as a sitting area. We had a small Juliette balcony overlooking the waterfront. Nice bathroom. Very central location.
Coffee in room wasn’t that great compared to other hotels in this price point. Instant coffee.
Great restaurant but understaffed and slow. Still the food is worth it."

"I don’t think it’s worth the money. People who aren’t guests take up the facilities, lack of service in the “bars”, no light lunch menu or pool service. Room turn down doesn’t take place until after 4pm often conflicting with the time you want to return to your room for the day. Breakfast is very good and staff are friendly but seem overstretched. Doesn’t live up to what it advertises I’m afraid. Would stay somewhere else."
