"For those travelling long distance my advice is get the hotel to book a taxi for you. When you exit the arrivals the younbglad is there and gives directions as to where to get the taxi. It's an hour from the airport to the hotel. The location is excyans I would strongly advise the Sky Bar. The Petronas Towers are straight in front of you. Hotel staff are exceptional, respectful and nothing is a problem. Well worth the stay...."

"From the moment we arrived rather hot and bothered at The Mandarin Oriental, we were made to feel welcome by the doormen, the reception staff, the luggage men. Had a welcome drink and cool flannel, room was ready an hour earlier than check in and special mention to Adit who always remembered our names and upgraded us to a park view( fabulous). The opulence and detail of the hotel was incredible. The room staff even put cable ties ( posh ones) on our phone and hair straightener leads to keep them tidy. Complimentary drinks in room, water and good coffee provided daily. We also ate at the hotel and the food was stunning. Used the pool whilst waiting to go to the airport and that was nice too, busy but a super view over the park and skyscrapers. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Probably one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in and good central location for most attractions. Thoroughly recommend it."

"The location is good. The suite smell musty. We had to get the staff to spray the room out, open the windows and get the air conditioning running. The shower head has mold and needs a good cleaning. Kitchen needs a good clean up too. There’s no cable or satellite tv, you have to use utube and the content is not current. No phone, you have to use WhatsApp to contact the staff for help with your issue and needs. I understand we’re in a changing world but hotel services should have human interaction by phone either for emergency or basic services and oh my goodness a tv you can just turn on and watch something. Not good!"

"Although just a one night stay, I had a good rest in the spacious and clean room. The room also had a water dispenser so one need not go to 7/11 (just opposite) to get water. The bed was comfy and room was spacious. Toilet had a bidet and shower was good with good pressure and water temperature control. Wifi was strong and stable too. I wished there was en extra pillow and I think it would not be an issue if you asked for one. There are only local tv channels available but with the strong wifi, there were no issues streaming content. Note that if you book through Expedia, you do not need to pay for the tourism tax. It’s stated in your booking confirmation email. Show that to the staff an they will take a picture of it. It’s normal for all Malaysian hotels to ask for the tourism tax, so always read through your confirmation email. Will definitely come back here for a stay when I’m back in KL."
