"We had a king suite which was stunning and had everything we needed. The food was very high quality and tasty. Unfortunately though the resort started shutting down in our last few days. No draft beer available in the evening, only bottles. I asked for 5 different cocktails one day at the pool bar and each could not be made as they were missing a key ingredient. The night before there were no cocktails at the bar because they had no shaker?! A member of staff told us they would send someone to the restaurant to get us our preferred drinks but I didn’t want to feel like an inconvenience!"

"I had the immense pleasure of staying at Grecotel Lux*Me White for one week in mid-October, sharing a double room with two single beds with my 14-year-old son. To say this was quite possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in would be an understatement. Amazing staff, a great location just 15 minutes from Rethymno, and a complimentary daily shuttle bus departing the hotel at 11 am and returning to pick you up at 3 pm. What more could you ask for? The hotel amenities are exceptional, from breakfast, lunch and dinner to drinks and snacks throughout the day. The staff are absolutely brilliant and spare no effort in making their guests’ stays truly memorable. I had several jaw-dropping moments during our stay, too many to list, but one that really stood out was seeing a full-sized honeycomb served at breakfast. That alone should give you a small idea of the exceptional service and experience this hotel offers. Honestly, I cannot recommend it highly enough. The highlight of the trip for me was the evening spent at the hotel’s own organic farm. Utter luxury."

"We booked a room at the last minute. There will a little mix up upon arrival but the hotel upgraded us and bought us dinner to compensate us. Honestly, there was no need. The hotel was fabulous and the staff could not have been friendlier. The beach area was perfect and exactly what we wanted during our time in Greece. Rethymno is a lovely town and not nearly as busy as Chania, which made a huge difference. We would definitely go back to this hotel."
