"Fantastisk oplevelse i fremragende telte med egen minipool. Der er kun 11 telte, så der er meget roligt på stedet. Personalet er MEGET venlige og hjælpsomme. Mulighed for udflugter ud i nærliggende natur. Fantastisk sted, især hvis man vil have lidt ro og bare vil forkæles. Kommer MEGET gerne igen!!"

Very good location, hidden away - safe and secure with gate security.
Staff are very friendly and courteous always happy to help.
Get the sea view rooms or if able to stretch more, the baruk suite. Views are amazing, as you are slightly higher on the hill side looking out to the beach and bay. Amazing views of the sunset in the evenings with your own balcony.
Clifftop pool (which is the closest from either seaview rooms or baruk suites) is the best. The infinity pool looking out to the...

The Culvert is a lovely, peaceful resort on the coast with great views out over the bay. It is clean and well looked after and the staff are very friendly and kind. It is very hot and there are mosquitoes so long sleeves and lightweight trousers advisable. Only marginally cooler at night so no need for warm clothes. All the cabins have aircon.
The sun is VERY hot, this is not a sun bathing resort. The UV index was saying Extreme so pack strong suncream, especially if you go on any...

Overall very good stay at a bargain price. All services available and the executive suites were very nice and spacious. The only issue was a persistent bad odour from the bathroom. The hotel is in good location for Kuching with great views over the river. I would certainly stay there again when I go back to Kuching.
They also had a good range of tours for those wanting to explore beyond Kuching which seemed well priced against the local tour companies.

Overall an amazing place to stay in kuching, especially if your looking for somewhere with some character.
The place is rustic with a few little bits which arent perfect, but place is really interesting, with lot of history and also really clean.
The hotel is near the old town and china town, with lots of bar and restaurants nearby and short was to the river front.
Bedroom are small but everything you need, both bed and bathroom were immaculate! - (photos are from check out).

This Hotel certainly does a good breakfast with wide variety of local foods to include the famous Sarawak Laksa and the usual European/Continental fayre. Assortment of local fruit and fresh lime juice for the health conscious.
The Hotel has very friendly and helpful Front of house staff...indeed all the staff we met were very courteous, polite, friendly and spoke good English especially the owner himself who was happy at all times having breakfast with his guests.

We had a great stay here as a family. Location and facilities are ideal.
A special mention needs to go Wan who was in charge of the pool and pool Bar. He was such a genuine helpful happy person and made some great drinks. He gave us some ideas and local places to try which were brilliant. Thanks Wan.
