"We arrived at Grand View after having a bad experience at another place. What a difference we had here. The lady on reception (Sophia I think) was so welcoming and informative. We booked some activities with her. She had info about the island, beaches, places to eat and then got staff to show us to our room and take our luggage. The room was amazing. Spotless and spacious. "The ONLY positive thing about this property was its phenomenal location and that is where the positives end and the negatives begin. For starters, the property did not pay their cable bill and as a result there was no TV in our room. No big deal because we can live without TV on vacation. In fairness, the manager responded quickly and tried to “fix” a “cable” problem, but we already knew what the problem was and it wasn’t a wire, it was non-payment!!! He said it would be fixed the next day...

"The hotel staff was 5 star. The room was 5 star. The only drawback is that our suite was on a main road. With the windows closed there wasn't much road noise. If we were to return, I would book a room across the street facing the bay. Those rooms are below the street. There is very little to do around the property. A rental car is a must. "
