"This is a guest house- meaning owned by a single family, whom you will meet (the two sons and their cat were our "welcome committee." The area is not in the tourist zone, but it is quite safe. There is a shop across the street to buy water, soda, snacks, and Ronaldo provides an excellent breakfast. The beds are new and great, and the blankets thick and warm. "I arrived @Cozy Room during my first visit there and learned my booking had gone into the hotel's spam mail. Subsequently, there was no booking for me and no available rooms.
However, Cozy Room immediately made it right-within 15 minutes they Ubered me, at their expense, to another hotel not too far away. I was heading to Machu Picchu the next morning so I left my luggage at the new hotel to hold until my return. Upon my return, Cozy Room had picked up my luggage and they were waiting for me...
