"Everything went well, family of 4, with kids. Parking everything good!"

"The guy working the front counter (Hassan) was super friendly and gave us a bunch of recommendations on what to do in the area, where to park and where to eat. Parking at the hotel was easy and the room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again."

"My weeklong stay at the Viceroy was terrific, mainly thanks to the friendly attentive staff. At the front desk, Ben and a woman whose name may have been Edith (I should have written it down!) were particularly determined to make sure I had a simple relaxing time. Several of the valets were also unusually warm and helpful as well. For me, the only weak spot in the service was a fellow named Chris, who, when I said I couldn't get through to room service, seemed impatient, then sent room service...

"Every single staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. You can tell they are a tight team. Room was comfortable and we especially appreciated having a small couch. Gym was great. The hotel is very close to the pier and beach access and walkable to lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Plus Target and Trader Joe’s right down the street. Very enjoyable stay."

"Nice clean hotel one block from the beach, free water and close to main promenade shopping."

"Price and location"

"Amazing location, a walk to the beach! For the price there is no better location if you want to soak in the Santa Monica vibe. The building is old, traffic is loud, but staff is awesome, building and rooms and very clean."

"There was no elevator. I had heavy bags. My wife and I are in our 70's. It was a struggle. Room small. Little room for bags. Were supposed to get a room with two queens. Our room had a single and a double."
