"The room was beautiful, but the AC was not very efficient. We never saw a staff member the whole time we were there. We were comfortable and had everything we needed, but the location is a bit remote from the city center."

"We stayed in the Brunelleschi suite - what a perfect location right at the square. Bed was very comfortable, had a small refrigerator, and the B&B provided still or sparkling water at your leisure to fill using the provided glass decanter. Our host was so kind and made us feel very welcome! The B&B gives you a voucher each day, left in your room, for breakfast the following am. You choose between 2 different cafes, one right below, and the other two shops down- included was1 coffee , 1 juice, 1 pastry, AND 1 sandwich for the AM breakfast each day. Both cafes were excellent! There was live musicians each evening right in the square, so not super quiet until about 11pm, but we didn't find any of it a bother at all- we would stand on the balcony and watch with a glass of wine! It really was lovely. Highly recommend!"

"The staff is rude and doesn’t greet people at the desk. Don’t book this hotel if your flight lands in the evening as they will charge you hidden fees and when the reception closes. You have to pay in cash for the late fees, 20 euros per hour and they don’t accept card for that. Looks like some undeclared business to pay someone to wait for guests at reception. Avoid this place!"

"The hotel made you feel like you were experiencing authentic Italy. The giant front doors were amazing. We had 4 keys to unlock the 3 doors and elevator to get into our room, so safety did not seem to be a concern. The room was a bit dusty, but the bathroom was clean. There were no screens on the windows so when you opened the wood shutters it was open air to the courtyard. We reserved breakfasts for our mornings, but unfortunately we were up and out before the dining room opened at 8:30 am/9:00 am, so we were only able to eat one time at the hotel. The location was excellent on a wonderful street with a great coffee shop (opens early), gelato store, restaurants, bars and shopping all on our street. We walked all over Florence from our hotel and never felt like any place was too far. It was a wonderful stay! "

"Located at the top of a beautiful historic building, our stay has wonderful views of Florence and plenty of space to welcome us to the city. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise to help fuel our long days exploring. Would recommend to any couple looking for a suite to enjoy for themselves."

"Fabulous location at an affordable (for Florence) price. Air conditioning available as well as microwave etc in communal lobby area. Room and bathroom a good size. There will be a little bit of noise from outside but this is what happens in a good location, and I found it generally very quiet at night. There is a bit of noise from adjoining rooms if your neighbour likes to sing in the bathroom...but otherwise it's well laid out to prevent much noise transfer. Communication was excellent and host could not have been more hospitable and helpful when it came to check in etc. Would definitely recommend."

"Broken glass left on the floor, I was bleeding out, we tried to contact staff and they were dismissive. There was a constant rattling and banging noise coming from somewhere which made feel very scary and annoying to sleep. "
