The staff were so friendly and kind! Parking was easy, right in front of the room. Very close drive to Cedar Point. Comfortable beds and the room was very clean. The rooms are updated and have what you need -- coffee maker, fridge, microwave. Shared walls means you hear your neighbors if they are being loud, but no more than if you were staying at any other hotel. Overall, a really nice and comfortable stay.

Very clean, staff was extremely nice and helpful. Nice fire pit and chairs behind the building were nice to enjoy a bonfire at night. Corn hole boards and community charcoal grill and picnic tables behind the building for guest to also use.

This place is such a gem! Family friendly way beyond what most hotels locally offer! Clean site, comfortable bedding and seating, courteous staff, outstanding place! I will definitely be back! The room was clean and comfortable. We were staying just one night so I wasn't looking for anything special. I would recommend staying and we will use the Explorer again. If I had to find one thing to improve, it would be the bathroom sink. It's a little on the miniature side!

I booked this not having seen it but the website made it look very nice. When we arrived we were surprised at what we saw, and not in a good way, online it presented as a hotel, not a motel. Since it didn’t look like there was a check in area or a main lobby, we drove around to our room. Well. Right off the bat I wasn’t comfortable even parking there on the side of the building where there didn’t appear to be any other guests. Just sketchy looking apartments behind it. When we peeked in the window and saw the wavy “lumpy” bed and small quarters I decided I didn’t care how much it cost we were staying somewhere else.

Close and great with the family.

Room was clean, air conditioning worked well, streaming on the TV, cute updates and comfortable beds. Our door lock was busted Parking was a free for all and angled which made it harder for several of our neighbors. Parking spots could be bigger keeping in mind family vehicles by the family rooms and maybe numbered??
