"our room opened to the beach, the staff was friendly, there were multiple placed to relax at beach or pools, never felt crowded. The food and drinks were amazing"
"This is a great resort to spend time away from home. The rooms are a bit dated and while tidy, the cleanliness could improve…however, we found the staff to be friendly.
Location is a 9/10. It’s so close to the beach and the grocery store! It’s not a 10/10 only because it’s not on the beach itself. BUT, small inconvenience for such a great expanse of beach. "
"We had a mall attached to the hotel and a boat service from hotel to private island. This was the highlight of this property. The island had cooling breezes, lots of lounge chairs, good food and drinks but the highlight is the roaming flamingos. The hotel pool was also lovely "
"Absolutely beautiful beach!! Room near beach which was great because there were no public bathrooms. Buffet was not a true buffet you had to wait in line to order your main dish which usually took awhile… not enough entertainment at night and absolutely no entertainment around the pool or beach during the day. Very quiet hotel resort but if you are just looking for R&R this is the place. "
Hotel Riu Palace Antillas - Adults Only - All Inclusive
4/10 Poor
"Very underwhelming. Limited restaurant selection that never said reservations required but by 730pm, they were full for the evening. This limited us to the buffet for dinner. Also, even though RIU owns two properties side by side you cannot visit the restaurants at the other resorts
The entertainment at night was mediocre at best. What was labeled as a comedy show was just a game show. There was little humor in it.
The beach and pool were clean but patrons reserved seats very early and were never removed after the two hour time limit even though it is clearly marked as being the rule. This led to limited good seating
The staff was the best part. Always helpful and accommodating. This was pretty much the only part that exceeded expectations.
