The staff especially Aracelli embraced me like a sister. She was wonderful in every aspect. The hotel was amazing, it opens into a beautiful kitchen area, a fountain to the other side and dining room, then two comfy living spaces. My room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was my room sat above a very busy and noisy street. I would definitely stay here again! Gracias, Aracelli!

Una ubicación excelente y cuarto cómodo.

Se destaca por su excelente ubicación, a 2 cuadras de la catedral, el cuarto muy limpio y cómodo. Para las altas temperaturas que puede llegar a tener San Miguel, creo que podrían añadir algún aire acondicionado portátil. Tomen sus precauciones si llevan coche,  Nosotros no nos percatamos de que no tenían estacionamiento; afortunadamente conseguimos estacionarnos en una calle.

Robo de dinero en efectivo

Acudí a este hotel los días del 7 al 9 de septiembre 2018, al registrarnos nos comentaron que la caja fuerte no servia a través de la combinación y nos dieron una llave para poder hacer uso de ella, guarde mi cartera con dinero en efectivo ya que acudiría a una boda. Al día siguiente por la mañana al abrir la caja fuerte cual va siendo mi sorpresa que extrajeron de mi cartera 2 mil pesos de mi dinero, acudí a la recepción a poner la queja y me dijeron que iban a revisar las cámaras de seguridad las cuales dicen que estaban muy lentes y que tardaban mucho en verse y había tramos que no se veía, solicite hablar con el gerente el cual nunca dio la cara y me dijeron que si encontraban algo en las cámaras me mandarían un mail, el cual obviamente no he recibido.

A home away from home.... only better!!!

Casa Florida is a perfect place to stay in San Miguel de Allende. When staying there, I felt I was totally experiencing all that makes San Miguel such a special place. I was in a home, not just a b&b. I was part of a family, not just among paid employees. With only four bedrooms, it really is a home. And just like the best of homes, this place has the perfect location! I loved it so much that I am coming next year for four weeks instead of two and would not consider going to any other place. Thanks Steven and Pedro and the lovely ladies for making it such a wonderful experience!

Lovely B&B

Our stay at Casa Florida was terrific! Casa Florida is a lovely B&B! Rooms are clean and pretty, breakfast each day was delicious, and the staff are really nice! I would absolutely stay again when Im in SMA!

Disappointing stay

There are four rooms in this small B and B — two are directly facing one of San Miguel's busiest streets. There is constant traffic outside the window through the day and boom box cruising at night — especially on the weekend. To avoid the noise you will have to shutter yourself in the room denying yourself two of San Miguel's biggest benefits, sunshine and beautiful weather. We left the property after the second night of a four night stay. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this property.

Great Value

A great value a short walk from the center of San Miguel de Allende. The breakfast was basic but well done- do not expect 5 star buffets at a B & B. Clean, friendly staff, and plenty of hot water (not always expected in Mexico) for the shower. There are nicer looking B & B for twice the price, but that does not get you anything extra since you will not be in your room much anyway.
