Great Stay

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Las Marianas. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Bathroom small but an excellent hot shower. Tasty, expansive breakfast with eggs cooked on order. The hotel is beautifully decorated with art by both Mariana's painting & sculptures. Hosts are warm, welcoming, and a wealth of information on activities in the area. Safe, onsite parking. We would happily return.

The Marianas, mom, daughter ( and grandmother and grandaughter also although i didnt meet them) are lovelyand were great with arranging transport and giving recommendations. Lots of pictures of mom and others Nordic skiing and the daughter enjoys it immensely also and can arrange a guide in the winter if one wants to find the best places...very tempting! Everybody in town knows them...

Property was charming and quaint. The hotel is actually a B&B with great breakfast selection which I took advantage of every morning and I’m not a breakfast person. However I could not resist the homemade apple bread. The B&B is in an updated historic home of German architecture and adorned with original artwork by one of the owners. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. Most of them spoke little English but with my ‘Spanglish’ we were able to make it work just fine. I really liked the location - several blocks from the center of town but very convenient once I got my bearings. My room was small and basic but comfortable. The bathroom was also very small. This was all fine with me because I was not there most of the time during the day. Not a lot of amenities other than the great breakfast - but I do not require a lot of amenities. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice comfortable place to sleep after a day out hiking and exploring the area and a nice breakfast to get the next day going again!

This place is the bare minimum of bare minimum. You get a cheap mattress and basically nothing more. Temperatures reached 33° c and this place offers no air conditioning nor any television in the rooms or in a common area! You sleep on like a $50 mattress and if it's hot too bad. Then you throw in the dog across the street from the place that barks incessantly and will not let you sleep or relax. We checked in and checked out a few hours later. We couldn't stay here knowing that the heat was coming and the accommodations were bad, the breakfast buffet is overpriced. Then when I reached out to to the hotel to get possibly a partial refund, my messages were never responded too. Book this place at your own peril
