"In a single room it didn’t feel I was treated the same as friends and family staying in double or family rooms. It was clean and adequate but not special.
Breakfast buffet bacon and eggs first morning was not hot but there are freshly cooked alternatives. Evening menu was limited and not great although the hotel seemed half empty so I think the main restaurant was not open.
Staff were generally very pleasant and helpful although one waitress spilled milk on my table said sorry but made no attempt to clear it up. Small things that leave an impression.
Overall a nice historic hotel and very convenient location let down by small issues. "
