"This property was absolutely beautiful and quaint. We stayed in the Catherine suite which had its own private green room. It was a real treat! I enjoyed listening to the rain and sipping tea in the early morning in the green room. Our shower was fantastic and the bathroom was newly remodeled. The property has a lot of history and preserves the charm of a real French country Chateau. The grounds are gorgeous and our hosts allowed us to spend the evening exploring the park and fruit orchard....

"This hotel is simply amazing, the property is well kept: beautiful landscape, garden, restaurants and bar. We had breakfast and dinner which were well prepared. The breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of bread, crepes, meat and dinner menu has a wide selection, including kid’s plate, seafood, meat and desserts. They have an extensive dessert menu also.
Everyone is simply attentive, kind, and welcoming. Receptionists, servers, and team members were fluent in English....

"Our quick visit to Hôtel de la Plage was wonderful. Despite a much later first night arrival, the staff kept in constant communication with us for check-in and had keys and information waiting. The restaurant was closed, but they put together a last-minute charcuterie board and some drinks for us. Clean rooms, great beds, central location, wonderful food and not enough can be said about the staff. Always welcoming, always smiling, just fantastic and charming. Easily would stay here again,...

"This is such a cute boutique hotel. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It's rare to find a king bed in any hotel in Europe but this was very nice! Everything was in good working order. Front desk staff was helpful and very sweet. We didn't partake in the daily paid breakfast so I cannot comment on that but it's at a great location nearby an amazing boulangerie, grocery and restaurants. While there isn't A/C, the large window allowed for ample breeze in the evenings and a fan was...

"From check in to check out, we had a wonderful experience. So thankful that the owner recommended a restaurant, Carver, also owned by her family at a sister hotel. "Quaint little hotel near enough the centre of Bayeux, so ideal location to base yourself before pushing out to explore Normandy. Rooms were clean and tidy, beds comfy and enough room for two people.
One issue we found was the hair dryer lacked some oomph but given the weather it wasnt entirely needed.
The free cider was a welcome touch and very delicious. Parking as well was fantastic if you're driving. All in all would stay again. Staff were welcoming and helpful."
