"The hotel is stunning and the grounds around it are incrdible. The promenade walk was out of this world. Very friendly staff and helpful. The pool is very clean. We had our cuckapoo with us and they were very loving towards him. Dogs are not allowed in the dinning room which wasnt an issue at all as we were allowed to stay on the bar side/dinning room. "Our stay at Thornbank couldn't have been better. Jane and mark were wonderful hosts. The hotel was easy to find. Impeccably kept and had all the amenities you need. You could book breakfast and a variety of options were available. The lication was great perfevtly placed halfway between windermere and bowness for places to eat. The frontage of the house was beautiful with lots of flowers too which was lovely. We had a great time and would highly recommend"

"We enjoyed staying in the property. We had a car and can visit all the Lake District attractions from the location. The view of the hotel was superb and manage to take some nice snaps. English Breakfast was included and the hospitality was superb. I faced flush issue with the toilet but the hotel has resolved the issue within quick turnaround time.
