"Overall an ok stay. Super clean and charming, unbeatable location. Some details could make the experience 5 star. All doors are very squeaky, which was disruptive in the middle of the night. There is virtually no sound barrier between the room and hallway, so it feels like you can hear other people breathing through the walls. The bed was VERY low to the ground and mattress felt cheap and dated. A few improved details would really make this place a hidden gem. "

"Parking was not well explained and we ended up parking in the wrong area (P5) and had to go move our vehicle and come back in, then the card they gave us didn’t work to park in P1 so we had to park in P2, go back in do it again and get a new card. I called on the phone peor to arriving to ask about parking. I was told to park and then go in to check-in. Knowing what I know now, that made no sense as we needed the card to park where we were suppose to and be close to the actual hotel entrance....

"The check-in process and parking was easy enough. Our room was pretty well clean except for the side tables by the bed we’re dirty as well as there was hair in the shower and our bathroom sink had a crack in it."

"The only complaint I have was not really the fault of the hotel, but it is located right in the bar district and little to no sound proofing in the rooms. So it was loud outside, but the hotel itself was very quiet. Clean, large room was very comfortable. "

"The property was close to Dalhousie university, walking distance to all the attractions in Halifax. Bed was a bit hard and one of the pillow cases was falling apart. Breakfast was very simple with not much variety. Room was clean and staff very friendly."
