"Returning to this historic hotel for a third visit was just as enjoyable as ever. Although my room was smaller this time, it was still beautifully maintained and very comfortable. I was especially grateful to be allowed an early check-in at no extra cost, which made my trip even more relaxing. "Excellent breakfast"

"The hotel is under refurbishment. This is not reflected in the price nor mentioned when booking. Hotel is in poor condition and the accommodation was not clean. The bathroom had old flannels hanging from the shower curtain and a used bar of soap covered in hairs. I contacted the hotel about my concerns and they said because we had booked via Expedia that I should complain to them."
