"The Novel House was very convenient to Zion NP and all the restaurants in Springdale. The staff were very friendly and helpful with questions about the park and the town of Springdale. "Overall, not a bad stay. This is not a 5 star hotel by any means. It is a little expensive, but you are located in a good area. THERE IS NO FREE BREAKFAST included. You have to go to their restaurant to eat and it will cost about $50 per couple. There are better places within walking distance. The room was nice, albeit a bit small, but was clean. The pool was nice and some days overcrowded with kids. I probably would stay there again, but would have to get a better price."

My primary reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is tge absence of any drinking water in the property other than unpleasant tasting tap water, which ruins coffee, tea and water bottle experience. "We had the hiker's room, and it was by far the smallest room I've ever been in (maybe 8x10 not including the bathroom). We had two twin beds with a dresser in between. There was about a foot and a half at the foot of the bed to the wall. We would have had more room without the dresser. Bathroom was also small. Walking around the property, it was pretty and well kept. Looked like all the units were small. Conveniently located. Easy walk to find food and close to park entrance."
