"As an American traveling with his wife and 3 kids, it is always a welcome surprise when the front desk persons speak English and tolerate my attempts at French. They were very kind. "Out of 5 hotels I've stayed at in France on this trip, this is the most "hotel-like" of what we stayed in. The room smelled like a hotel room, in the best way. The bathroom had a tub (although it still wasn't fully enclosed). Everything was clean and nice.
