"As always our stay was amazing. It's such a treat to get away and feel like you are in the middle on nowhere. The peace and tranquility is fantastic. It's so nice to wonder around the shop there and the food is second to none. "The location of the hotel is excellent and check-in with our Expedia reservation was quick and easy! The Commodore Hotel sits on the main street in Cobh, near where the cruise ships dock, and near the Titanic Museum and tourist information center. We stayed for four nights to be close to family on the island. We were able to find and use on-street parking for our rental car since we were gone most of the daytime hours. "Our hotel was amazing. From the valet parking to the front desk to the housekeepers. Everyone was amazing and helpful. The grounds were outstanding and well kept. The pool and leisure center was a great place to visit. Breakfast was delightful. They say it gets busy between 9-10 and it is. But go earlier or set proper expectations."

"If you need good Internet avoid this hotel. Its the worst Internet I've experienced in a "1st world" hotel. Been here 4 times over 3 months for work and it's been absolutely abysmal. Their connectivity fluctuates wildy and constantly drops. Speed is non existent. I've had to use mobile data for 3 out of 4 trips. Truly pathetic. Complaints to management is pointless. They do nothing. The main plus about this place is the gym. And the restaurant is good. Internet absolute muck!!!"

"Helpful staff at the front desk. Good to have a community room with kitchen available, stove, kettle, tv, couches, Needs more utensils for eating meals. Helpful to have tea bags, milk, sugar, toiletries etc at the front desk. Very loud banging of doors that Interrupts sleep. Needs silent closures for doors. Needs clothes/ towel hanger in bathroom. Price is too high for very loud noise with doors banging and an interrupted sleep . "

"Check in wasn’t really smooth through expedia as we booked on short notice and it hadn’t shown up in their system; however the front desk attendant was very helpful and accommodating. She offered us to have a meal in lounge and leave luggage at front desk….she would come get us when reservation showed up in system so we could complete check in. She followed through and no other problems."

"I would recommend this hotel. The only downside of this place is no onsite or near by parking. You need to park in parkades that are about a 10-min walk from the hotel. With any booking you make in the Ireland, always book the breakfast of you intend to eat breakfast. It will save you a ton if you prebook and pay for it."
