"We chose Muri beachcomber because of the location and boy, were our expectations surpassed. Our room was so close to the water we could see turtles cruising past! Great facilities and vibe without the volume of people at some of the larger resorts, truly a place that we were able to unwind. Highly recommended for the location, facilities and service."

"Unbeatable view, very friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous room, comfortable. Nice hot shower and beautiful breakfast spread. For those that need gluten free, there were even some gluten free options. Airport shuttle was great as well."

"Just what we wanted. A well maintained, clean resort with no kids. Having said that, there was always the option of going next door to The Rarotongan to use their facilities. The staff deserve a special mention. They were universally polite with a ready smile and happy to share a joke and quick chat. They made the holiday. This resort really merits a 5 star review."
Crown Beach Resort & Spa

"We enjoyed our stay here. Room was huge and well maintained, very clean too. It was great to have our own plunge pool, but unfortunately didn’t get to use it much due to the wet weather we have had since we arrived. Grounds are being replanted and cleaned up, but the water features all through the property are looking very sad. Most of the staff were either Fijian or Philippino and very friendly and helpful. The cultural night was really good with a great band and dance troupe. I’m glad we picked this instead of the expensive Te Vara Nui night. The drummers they had were absolutely incredible, 14 of them all in time and the sound was amazing! The dancers were also really good with about 4 different areas represented, they sure can move their hips! It was a great night. All in all we had a fabulous stay"

The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Lagoonarium

"A great place for a family holiday with all you need. Restaurant was top notch for breakfast with something for everyone. Beachside room was basic for the price but quiet most of the time. Beach next door was a better option for us as a busy time of year in August and hotel beachfront very busy with families. Enjoyed the cocktail hour and nibbles. Bus comes into the entrance of hotel every 30 minutes, which is great and no car needed but $5 for each trip so for a family car hire may be more economical."

"Ideal for a quiet stay, we were away from road and beach, so nice and quiet, Good food, slightly expensive so tended to eat elsewhere. Wifi was extra cost, so we just usedthe free Wifi in the afternoons by the cafe/bar on the beach. Good sized room, basic but everything we needed."

"We had a fabulous stay in a two bedroom villa. Complex is great with a continental breakfast included. A short walk across the road to a beautiful beach with kayaks, snorkel equipment available to use free of charge. Staff were wonderful and facilities great. The rosters in adjoining property can take a bit to get used to but would still highly recommend for location (beautiful sunsets) and value. Bus stop is right outside for the island bus."
