"The hotel staff was exceptional. The bed was probably the most comfortable during my 3.5 week stay in NZ! We were very lucky and had a room on the 23rd floor (corner room) with an amazing view of the harbor. The room was quite, clean and super comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Our favorite place to stay, convenient to everything, the staff are lovely, if your a SHOW member at Skycity then even better. Cheaper or FREE parking depending on the status of your membership. There is a nice terrace outside (where you can vape or smoke), a gym with basic gear (still better than nothing) a sauna and spa. The restaurants are yummy. The East Day Spa is an amazing, beautiful treat. We can't wait to stay again. Highly recommend and its even better when Expedia have a special."

"The Hotel was clean and well kept.The breakfast was really nice, well prepared and nicely presented. The Ghost restaurant in the basement was pretty cool although the Bar area was deserted on on a different level. ( Not sure If there was another one we missed) The bathroom was modern but a little too dark and the shower had no door which made the water splash outside which left a pool of water, poor design. Overall a good experience well located."

"I paid for the location, the "business center" and because they said online this property had free newspapers -- which it didn't. I generally enjoyed the room, although there was a loud hum in the bathroom for most of it. I didn't find the staff particularly helpful when I arrived, as I asked about using the business center (a computer) and they gave me the runaround, although I used it anyway. Staff was much better when I checked out, guiding me with my questions about going to the airport (take the train, it's right there). This place is next to the train station and practically on the harbor, and is a good, comfortable stay if you want to be in that area. Gym is small and has no windows. They charge for early check-in, but they placed my bags that had been in storage when the room was ready, before official check-in."
