"To start, the hotel staff are so friendly and welcoming - right from the start helping us locate parking just in front of the hotel. We could always find a spot. The location is perfect for exploring Sant’ Antioco, but returning to a beach town. Within a short walk is an area on the beach they have reserved for guests. I do believe we paid extra with our reservation to have chairs reserved each day. The water is turquoise, calm and clear and you can go out forever before the water depth reaches your waist… beautiful!!!
We had dinner the first night at the restaurant and it was excellent. Order the tiramisu fir a unique experience! The waiters were kind and funny - it was a real treat to eat there.
Only a few rooms have deck railings which are solid meaning you can’t see the water if sitting on your deck. I’d avoid these if possible.
The swimming pool area was very nice, with drink service available. We didn’t go in, but it looked inviting.
We enjoyed our stay and would go back."
"Lovely room with mini fridge, great shower and balcony and really comfortable beds.
Brilliant free activities for kids and teens morning 10am, afternoon 3pm and night 9pm. Watch out for the special kids activities like art classes that come with an extra charge as these at €25 are quite pricey. Activities for adults and kids are shared across three hotels in Chia Laguna so padel and table tennis were across the road but only a couple of minutes walk. There was no yoga on when we stayed which was disappointing.
Food at Domus restaurant was plentiful and varied, no junk food which was great but no pizza or gelati (if you want pizza or ice cream you need to buy it from the piazza bar). Restaurant servers were not very friendly, except for the guys bringing out the food who were excellent and very helpful. There is an optional surcharge added to your bill on check out for tips for waiting staff.
There is handy free road train that goes to the beautiful sandy beach nearby every 15 minutes which is brilliant. The water is clear and safe for swimming. There is a beach bar for drinks snd ice cream and an excellent water sports centre. We went horse riding near the hotel: 1hr beginners ride €45pp.
We only spent a little time by the hotel pool which has a snack bar because the sun beds were so hard and uncomfortable.
The beach sun loungers are divided up by hotel so the Village section has hard sun loungers. Conrad guests get lovely padded loungers so we used them in the back row."
"A beautiful hotel surrounded by nature. The swimming pool gracefully wraps around the hotel rooms, creating a unique and relaxing atmosphere. The lush, rich vegetation blends seamlessly with the architecture, making you feel immersed in a peaceful oasis. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings."
"We arrived after a long drive and Clara, the receptionist, couldn't have been more helpful. Check in was easy and efficient. All the staff we met were helpful and full of local information.
Our room was spacious with a balcony with side sea view and another window sea and pool facing. There was ample storage, comfortable beds and a fridge too. The bathroom was compact but not an issue. There was ample parking at the hotel.
Outside the pool was lovely, large enough to swim in. There were chairs and loungers and shade available. The beach next to the hotel was stunning with a snack bar and umbrellas, loungers to hire."
