"Sterile & minimal in every way. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, no shops, no cafés, nothing. a 35 minute walk from the center of town. It advertises that it's steps away from the train station - NOT so. It a 10 minute walk and was not fun pulling a suitcase when the rain started. "

"Our stay at Hotel Grand Francais was fantastic. One of the most underrated elements was that there was an amazing cocktail bar associated with the Hotel that was standout. The location felt very secure, was convenient to a ton of restaurants. The room was very clean and service was great. The breakfast spread was also delicious. Cafes and restaurants seemed to open quite late, so would recommend taking advantage of the breakfast. Would absolutely stay again when in Bordeaux!"
