"Comfortable bedroom, friendly welcome on arrival and at breakfast. Good breakfast buffet. Restaurant advertised as closed on a Monday so we booked elsewhere, but on our return we were surprised to see that the restaurant was actually open. This was not made clear, and was disappointing as we would have dined in the restaurant both nights of our stay had we known that it would be open. "

"Staff were friendly and that's about the only good thing I can say, the carpets in the common areas are filthy, there was no hot water for a shower and we were woken up at 1am by loads of drunk guests shouting. I got about 3 hours sleep. Wouldn't recommend."

My second stay in a Brit Hotel and will use them wherever possible. Rooms are basic but well maintained and have everything I need. Be aware reception closed at 2300. "

Very comfortable bed and linens. Wifi fine. Surprisingly quiet given location aside from my window just above bar. Loud talking both nights until after 1100. But slept very well. Just a minor comment. Curtain very difficult to pull to block lights. Suggest a blackout blind. Would be so much easier. Very good...
