"It’s a wonderful place to stay if you’re touring the Sacred Valley in the Cusco area, especially for adjusting to the high altitude of Cusco city. The hotel is peaceful, with a garden-like atmosphere that makes it very relaxing. The service is excellent, and the staff are kind, polite, and always ready to help. They can arrange tours and taxi services, which makes exploring the area very convenient. During my stay, they organized a one-day taxi tour for me that covered four to five highlights...

"It was a beautiful place, lovely to relax in, service was excellent, love the gardeners, love the llamas (or alpacas - unclear), lovely jacuzzi. Could fit twelve people or six alpacas in the jacuzzi and still have room to do laps. Unfort we were incredibly incapable of temperature regulation (possibly our fault). The dome became a whole greenhouse during the day and outside was somehow too cold unless you were in the jacuzzi. Also the drinking water situation was a challenge - BYOW. "

The lodge feels like an old ruin brought back to life. The rooms are beautiful and very rustic. The beds are extremely comfortable. Beautiful dining room for meals. The lodge is peaceful, quiet, and a short moto taxi ride from downtown. Lastly, two charming German sheapards make the lodge feel like a home away...
