"Excellent breakfast and helpful ladies at reception. Didn’t use the pool on 5th floor but relaxing, reading and enjoying the view up there was just lovely. Central position of the hotel on the harbour made it easy to take the ferries and go to restaurants and bars. Downside : very noisy with tourists until late in the night, traffic, Vespas and at 5 am rubbish collection. No aircon so you had to open the windows to breathe. Luckily though, no heatwave in April. Get a room on higher floors or at the back."

"Yes, in the street which runs past the hotel there are shops and bar. Walk one way takes you to the Castle the other to the ports and ferry. The street is pedestrianised, but that is Italian style---so look out for cars , motor bikes etc. "

"The location is great but lot of the service don’t work the restaurant was closed for lunch or dinner ,the phone in the room didn’t work but charged 4 euro to bring the breakfast in the room but I had to go downstairs !! If you wanted a pool towel they wanted ten euro a day mmm"
