"We loved hotel griso. Personel was very kind and the room was comfortable. Great view on the lake and close to lecco (20 minutes walk). Clean hotel and a good place to take the car and visit Lake como. There is also a great beach not too far."

"Beautiful location with direct views to lake Como and mountains. Just a few yards from shore of the lake which has a pebbly beach. Great for swimming. Some good restaurants around and just across the road from the railway station. Amazing setting! The breakfast (Halal) is really good and sitting in the garden looking at the lake and mountains is bliss! Very helpful staff. It's one of the best 3* hotels we've stayed in."

"Rosa delle Alpi is an exquisite boutique hotel with large and spacious rooms and only 12 rooms on a very large natural oversized acreage with the most incredible staff. they also have the best chefs and incredible meals for dinner at below market pricing. when we arrived late at the Varenna train station in a pouring rain storm. One of the managers came personally to pick us up because no uber, no taxis. it’s about half hour trip to the Hotel. the property is exquisite with wood and stone...
