We arrived at the hotel at 5 p.m., but our room still wasn't ready for check-in. They offered us a larger room, but only for an additional cost. The rooms and bathrooms are very small. Overall, it was disappointing.

Wanted a centrally located hotel for this trip and the Marriot Downtown fit the bill. Large, busy hotel with bar, restaurants and other amenities. Room on 19th floor was spacious and well appointed. There was construction happening during the time of our stay. I cannot comment about the appearance due to that. The amenities in the kitchen were quite old and not a great experience. Stayed here for a conference. Staff not clear in their communications or helpful in general. Tried to charge me for early check in when I had paid for the night begore so that I could check in. Room was cold.
