Perfect location for a relaxing stay and brilliant team of people providing fantastic and considered service. However the condition of the rooms from repair point of view is bed, broken tiles, rotten wood fittings, and even plastic plates for service lets it down otherwise a great escape!

The rooms were huge and comfortable. Bed excellent, cleaning spotless. The staff extremely service minded and nice. Beach was great too. Food good! The area is very quiet and there is nothing to do though . Which was perfect for us because we only wanted to enjoy the beach. But if you want a variation of restaurants, shopping this place is not for you.

Paradise! Let’s start with the good …. Stunning pool, spacious rooms with beautiful outlook, clean but with the usual firm beds. Gorgeous grounds and right on a beach that stretches for ever both ways- great for walking. There is a pack of dogs that roam the property. They hang around the restaurant and beg for food. They seem harmless but I wasn’t tempted to pat one. In good health though and probably owned by the resort. No cats to be seen The not so good would be the majority of the patronage were Russians. Strange vibe from them, verging on unfriendly. The sea was murky grey and not tempting to swim in at all. Maybe it was the time of year we were there? Something to note is you access the property via a long boat or ferry across a substantial river then shuttle van. The long boat cost 80 baht for the 3 of us and the shuttle appeared to be free (phone the resort on arrival at the pier) All in all a lovely place with lovely staff but it has no soul

Great resort, plan your motorbike hire

Family of 5 staying in hotel rooms for 5n. Experienced Thailand travellers. Highly recommend this resort for big spacious rooms, cheap food at their restaurant. Need a motorbike though. Or be happy to pay 300 baht each way for 5km into local mini mart and pier. Beach is incredible. Pool super clean. A lot of Russian foreigners loading up (7plates plus) on breakfast buffet, this was the only let down to the holiday was the type of rude travellers. But the place and staff were amazing. Would definitely come again or to Paradis Villas which is 2 resorts closer to town is amazing for atmosphere and big Villa space. We did love the wild dogs who visited us on the beach

Sehr geräumiges, gut ausgestattetes Zimmer im Erdgeschoss mit kleiner Terrasse und direktem Zugang zum Pool. Das Frühstück wurde in Büffetform angeboten und war recht abwechslungsreich. Das angeschlossene Restaurant hatte eine umfangreiche Speisekarte mit angemessenen Preisen und für Thaimaßstäbe sehr großen Portionen. Wir haben fast 3 Wochen dort täglich gegessen, waren immer zufrieden, obwohl die Zubereitung nicht „authentisch Thai“, sondern in den Schärfegraden immer eher „mild“ war. Der Service war überall (Rezeption, Zimmerservice und Restaurant) sehr freundlich und hat sich um unsere Bedürfnisse/Wünsche gekümmert. Sprachprobleme wurden immer entspannt mit den heutigen Tools gelöst. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sogar noch um 7 Nächte verlängert. Nicht zu vergessen: der Strand ist ein Traum, die Poolanlage super und gepflegt und die am Strand angebotenen Massagen Klasse 👍👍👍

Ich und meine Frau haben 5Tage in einem großen Superior Zimmer in diesem Hotel verbracht. Wir waren im ganzen ganz zufrieden. Es war nicht exzellent, aber wir hatten auch kein 5 Sterne Hotel gebucht. Für den günstigen Kurs war absolut alles gerechtfertigt. Das Frühstück hätte vielleicht etwas besser sein können und die Preise für Getränke und Essen etwas günstiger. Aber hier auf einer Insel muss man auch einiges hinnehmen.

Liegt wunderbar an einem laaaaangen Strand mit feinstem Sand. Schöner Pool. Und nicht viele laute Russen. Ein guter Kontrast zu Phuket. Für Junge ist aber nichts los.

Kaunis hotellialue

Hyvätasoinen hotelli, jossa oli vierailumme aikana poikkeuksellisen vähän asiakkaita ja todella miellyttävän rauhallista. Vasta hotellissa selvisi, että sen pääasialliset asiakkaat ovat kiinalaisryhmiä. Nyt niitä ei ollut kiinalaisryhmiä koronaviruksen takia koskevan matkustuskiellon johdosta. Rantaa riittää kumpaankin suuntaan, mutta vesi on hiekan ja tuulisuuden takia sameaa. Hotellissa oli toiminnassa vain yksi ravintola, rannalla oli kuitenkin pari muutakin hotellia ravintoloineen. Kaiken kaikkiaan tunnelma oli leppoisa ja illan hämärtyessä liskot ja kaskaat aloittivat yöelämänsä. Ravintoloista valot sammuivat kymmeneen mennessä iltaisin, yöunet olivat pitkät ja rauhalliset.

Piękny, zadbany ośrodek hotelowy w tajskim stylu należący do rodziny z KoKhoKhao. Doskonały stosunek jakości do ceny. Świetnie wyposażone bungalowy oraz ładny budynek gówny. Mieszkaliśmy w domku z widokiem na morze w 4 osoby. Na miejscu restauracja plażowa (czynna od 18.00) i hotelowa. Bardzo dobre jedzenie, zarówno śniadania, jak i karta menu oraz napoje. Doskonałe drinki. Niedrogo. Na miejscu bilard, tenis stołowy, skutery, transport, etc. Świetne masaże. Kilka basenów. Wspaniała obsługa. Podczas naszego pobytu w godzinach wieczornych przebywały grupy zorganizowane jednak kwaterowane są w innej części ośrodka, ze swoim basenem oraz częścią restauracyjną. Nieuciążliwe. Blisko na wyspy Surin oraz KhaoSok- każdorazowo warto wybrać się tam na min. 2 dni. Wrażenie całkowitego chilloutu.

Fantastiskt hotell om du bara vill koppla av och sola och bada. Stora och rena rum med skön säng. Mils lång strand som du nästan är ensam på. Det enda negativa var att en stor Asiatisk resebyrå har abonnerat rum hela året så det var inte så mycket västerlänningar där, fördelen med det är att dom inte solar och badar och är istället på utflykt hela dagen.Och nytt för i år att det bbq varje kväll på stranden. Bra frukost och även resturang med vällagad mat.

Avslappnande semester

Allt är perfekt om man vill ha det lugnt på semestern. Riktigt fin strand och nästan ödslig. Bra med solstolar på stranden. Bra resturang med vällagade rätter Thai rätter 150/180 Bath. Ölen 60 Bath. Har ett litet snabbköp där kostar en Chang 33 cl 45 Bath. Rummen stora och rymliga lika så balkongen. Och Air con är tyst och funkar bra. Ett av dom bästa boendena jag har haft i Thailand

Resort abseits vom Touri-Trubel

Optimal für Menschen, die absolute Ruhe suchen und Wert auf Komfort legen. Auf der 17 km langen Insel leben nicht viele Menschen. Abends ausgehen gibt´s nicht. Ansonsten wunderschön mit kilometerlangen Stränden.

Great comfort but sterile atmosphere

No question, the rooms are big and comfortable. The atmosphere is very sterile, more like a communist grand hotel than a tropical resort. Friendly waiters but terrible food (Thai food has little in common with real Thai food, Western food little with real Western food; and don't expect any fresh ingredients or fresh fish there!), large selection at the breakfast buffet but all bad quality (even the "fresh" fruit tastes of refrigerator). Beautiful, clean beach (about 15 km long with just a handful of resorts). The Sunset Beach Resort is new and well maintained (they routinely claim that the jacuzzi in the pool and the water for the slide are all broken, but depending on the staff in charge, one can also succeed in persuading them to turn it on). Next door is a brand-new hotel (Sea Sun) where the same owner puts his Chinese guests. It's so noisy that you hear them even with your room's windows closed... Also, avoid the rooms B9 and B8 near the pool where the pumps are running 24 hours.

Отель понравился. Шикарный номер с видом на пляж. Большая, красивая терраса с креслами качалками. Но нам хотелось бы иметь на ней лежаки, т. к. зонтики на пляже уж очень маленькие, а мы любим находится в тени. Очень удобно, что в отеле есть магазин с хорошими ценами. Ресторан недорогой и вкусный.

Lugnt och prisvärt

Det är inget partyhotell, passar för barnfamiljer/par och vänner som vill ta det lugnt. Perfekt vid jätte lång sandstrand, restaurang helt ok, inget problem att åka till andra restauranger med hotellets tuk tuk.

Perfektes Hotel als adult only

Ein perfektes Hideaway - wenn es als Erwachsenen-Hotel konzipiert wäre. Leider sehr stark von skandinavischen Familien mit kleinsten Kindern frequentiert. Daher wird das paradiesische Umfeld leider häufig durch den heutzutage wohl unvermeidlichen “Kinderlärm“ getrübt (Eltern lassen ihre Kinder schalten und walten als wären sie im heimischen Wohnzimmer und nicht z.B. in einem Hotelrestaurant). Dafür können die Kinder nichts und das Hotel ebenfalls nicht. Die Bungalows sind ein geräumiger Traum, der Strand sowieso. Das Essen im Hotelrestaurant schmackhaft und preiswert.

Toppen hotell med bra faciliteter

Hotellet var rent, fräscht och mycket fint. Det ligger fint vid stranden och har en stor pool. Läget är mycket lugnt och passar bra för barnfamiljer och äldre, gäller för hela Koh Kho Kao. Prisnivån på ön är lite dyrare än övriga Thailand. Det märks att man bor avskilt.

Top hotel voor strand en rustzoekers

Heerlijk hotel op een rustig eiland. Ik had niet verwacht nog zo'n ongerepte omgeving te treffen. Hotel is nieuw, kamers zijn groot en comfortabel.

Flott beliggenhet

Vi hadde en avslappende ferie med mange turer langs stranden. Vi var noe uheldig med været - regn, overskyet med noen få solgløtt. Uvanlig på denne tiden av året.

Super hyggelig hotel på fredelig ø - fine værelser m flot udsigt - restauranten er rigtig god og billig - dog var wii-fee noget ustabil - og morgenmaden var ikke noget at skrive hjem om
